South Cobb High School football program is focused on giving student-athletes core values that will make them successful in all aspects of their lives. H.E.A.R.T. and Discipline are tools necessary for success in the classroom, on the field, and at home in their communities. The goal is to teach the athletes these six core values: Hustle- putting in the work to earn successful outcomes, never giving up; Effort- always working hard to improve their grades, getting better at football, and improving their lives; Attitude- maintaining a positive attitude, learning how to fight through tough times and stay humble when times are good; Respect- giving respect to parents, teachers/administrators, peers, and opponents is key to being successful; and Toughness- learning how to handle adversity, how to get back up when they are knocked down, being persistent in gaining success; finally the student athlete will learn to have Discipline as the foundation of all they do. The success of our student athletes will thrive with H.E.A.R.T. founded on Discipline.
